We also utilize the SAMHSA Building Blocks program to educate children 5-13yrs on the importance of self-worth, positive and nurturing internal experiences and empowerment. We also provide education and training to those professionals who work with youth.

IMIND gives adolescents tools to avoid substance use. This program helps students return to school programs as quickly as possible after disciplinary measures. PASS offers this one-day school intervention program in the case of first time offence to a school's drug/alcohol policy. In place of an in-school or at-home school suspension, this evidence-informed program provides education and assessment (SASSI assessment tool) to be sure they educate and help connect resources to the student. The school will not receive or have access to the screening results; parents will receive screening results at a later time after the review. Topics include prevention on smoking, vaping, alcohol, marijuana, and other drugs.

Youth Prevention program, Youth to Youth, engages young people in youth development, leadership and life skills to ultimately prevent the risk factors associated with substance abuse later in life. Youth are empowered to create positive change in their schools and communities, and are involved in the creation, development and implementation of messaging and projects.

An aquatic/outdoors educational program that serves as a primary prevention and early intervention project for youth. The program is designed to supply activities that are alternatives to drug and alcohol use and experimentation. Also provides eduction services that address stressors such as alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs, violence, leadership skills, coping skills, and other services that negatively impact youth.

Provides residential substance abuse treatment services for women. Services include counseling for alcoholism and drug abuse and substance abuse prevention education.

Provides public Medina County schools with drug abuse prevention and education programs program for youth in the community. Also provides crime prevention seminars and narcotics seminars to public school districts in the county.

Coalition led by the Trumbull County Mental Health and Recovery Board. Members are health professionals, parents, educators, elected officials, merchants, business members, police, administrators, and students who are concerned about alcohol, tobacco, and drug use among school-age children in Trumbull County. ASAP Opiate Task Force meets monthly. Focus are youth education, identifying neighborhoods experiencing high rates of drug related crimes and overdoses, providing community education, and providing education to medical professionals.

Offers adult comprehensive drug and alcohol assessments and counseling. Emphasizes family involvement through 10 week multi-family groups and 12 week aftercare (relapse prevention) group.

Provides information about smoking, vaping, and nicotine addiction, the dangers associated with smoking or utilizing other substances containing nicotine, the risks associated with exposure to second hand smoke and different approaches to smoking cessation with the objective of preventing people from starting to smoke or of helping them find a way to give up the habit if they already use tobacco products.
