The idea of this program is to record your life's history and experiences so that loved ones will know your story. Participants record into a special tape recorder and when all is completed, will receive a disc containing their own story in their own words to share with children, grandchildren, or friends.

Topics include inflation, bartering, and the basics of the Federal Reserve System and its history. School programs align with Ohio proficiency test standards in Social Studies.

Bear's Mill, built in 1849, is one of the few operating water-powered mills in Ohio. The mill is a rare historic landmark and grain is still ground into flours and meals today. Tours and special events are offered on the mill property year-round.
