Bear's Mill, built in 1849, is one of the few operating water-powered mills in Ohio. The mill is a rare historic landmark and grain is still ground into flours and meals today. Tours and special events are offered on the mill property year-round.

Features the sheep from Spicy Lamb Farm and volunteer Edie Steiner's border collies: Modibo, Rudy, and Lincoln. Offers access to this hillside in West Akron which was once home to 1500 Merino Saxony sheep that were owned by Col. Simon Perkins and shepherded by the abolitionist John Brown.
