Offers volunteer opportunities for adults. Positions available are: day of event volunteer, Dayton Area Chapter member, and office volunteer/clerical (West Chester office).

Supports member agencies to increase the capacity of people to care for one another. Accepts grant applications from non-profit organizations in January. Grant funds are disbursed July 1 - June 30. Special grant funds may also be available throughout the year.

Provides information on indoor and outdoor air pollutants including radon, carbon monoxide, ozone and others.

Assist donors in making a difference through charitable giving. Offers customized tools and strategies for individual and family giving, corporate giving, planned giving, and community knowledge.

Awards competitive grants to public charity organizations from the Foundation's unrestricted funds, field of interest funds, and from affiliated Supporting Foundations. Focuses on four opportunities: funds for innovative operations, funds for capital improvements, funds for targeted needs and community improvement project.

Provides speakers on cancer prevention and early detection to organizations. Builds relationships with community-based organizations and health care providers, schools, parks and communities to plan, organize and develop effective cancer prevention and early detection programs and activities. It is recommended Cervical Cancer testing (screening) should begin at age 25; Breast Screenings/Mammogram should start every year for Women between age 40-44; and regular mammograms should happen annually for Women between age 45-54. Women 55 and older can switch to a mammogram every other year.

Provides information to individuals with Multiple Sclerosis and their families. In-person, online and teleconference programs cover topics from understanding multiple sclerosis and its symptoms to employment and legal issues.

Provides asthma education program for children ages 8-11 with asthma.

Assists donors with assessing and determining the type of fund they wish to create. Donor determines the name of the fund, the charitable organization(s) to recieve the distributions, and scholarship and eligibility criteria, if appropriate. Changes may be made to the fund during the donor's lifetime.

Provides educational lung health information for adults with emphysema, chronic bronchitis, asthma, and other pulmonary illnesses.

Promotes education on lung health and prevention of various lung diseases. Advocates to the government for improved policies relating to lung health. Supports research through funding to fight lung disease.

Functions as a grant making public charity providing funding to charitable organizations. Focuses on providing funding for the following areas: education, health care, mental health, human services, community development, technology, religion, women, and youth. Does not fund, individuals, endowments or give capital grants. The Good Samaritan grant program (once a year) funds nonprofits up to $10,000 for "basic needs."

Provides information on sexually transmitted diseases and infections. Offers education on prevention, reducing risk and on specific STD/STIs such as HPV and Herpes. Operates a hotline that answers STI questions including transmission, prevention, testing and treatment.

Offers grants to organizations and special interest groups in the City of Hudson.

Functions as a grant making public charity providing funding to charitable organizations only which provide services to residents of greater Cleveland's communities in need. Focuses on providing funding for education including family life and cultural and arts, homelessness, crisis intervention, HIV/AIDS education, re-entry (ex-offenders), workforce development, seniors, youth and social services to African Americans. Does not fund endowments, capital grants, or individuals.
