The Arts Council brings to the county professionals in every arts discipline. It arranges concerts, performances, workshops, classes, and exhibits for the public including the elderly, handicapped, and economically disadvantaged. It develops special school and summer programming for children, a major focus of the Council since its founding. It encourages local artists in all fields, underwrites arts events for the community festivals and celebrations and provides incentives and recognition for arts achievement. Anyone who is interested may join, contribute, or participate. Countywide membership includes people of all ages and racial and ethnic backgrounds.

Provides a non-profit organization that offers membership to local veterans with the focus on assisting individuals who are currently homeless, displaced, and other Veterans in need. Organizes special events such as annual Summit County Stand Down, the annual God and County Dinner, and ongoing projects with the local Veterans Administration. Provides the annual Stand Down which is one-day event including mental health and substance abuse services, eye exams, legal aid, employment services, comfort items, and so forth.
