Providing grants, professional development, and networking opportunities for the ohio arts community.

The Arts Council brings to the county professionals in every arts discipline. It arranges concerts, performances, workshops, classes, and exhibits for the public including the elderly, handicapped, and economically disadvantaged. It develops special school and summer programming for children, a major focus of the Council since its founding. It encourages local artists in all fields, underwrites arts events for the community festivals and celebrations and provides incentives and recognition for arts achievement. Anyone who is interested may join, contribute, or participate. Countywide membership includes people of all ages and racial and ethnic backgrounds.

Provides grants for general operating support; provides scholarships;facilitates community cultural planning effort; serves as a clearinghouse for information about the cultural sector and produces an annual Guide to Arts & Culture in the Dayton Region. Provides technical assistance to individual artists and non-profit organizations who need help in an arts-related area.

Serves as a local arts council in Medina County that organizes several events, programs, and art projects that help promote art in the community. Provides grants to different art organizations, supports arts and art education projects. Promotes the Summer Arts Week Festival.

Builds community through the arts by providing a nurturing environment for artists at all levels of their creative journey, encouraging participation in the arts through education and outreach, and serving as a creative resource for the community. Provides professional development, coaching, sponsorship, and peer-to-peer networking for local artists.

Offers grants and technical assistance to Kentucky arts organizations, non-profit community organizations, local arts councils, local government agencies, individual artists and crafts persons.
