Provides classes and support groups that teach individuals how to advocate for themselves or in support of someone with a mental illness; also provides advocacy on behalf of individuals with a mental illness or on the behalf of people who support a loved one with a mental illness; actively advocates on legislative issues involving mental health.

Provides a wide range of services for individuals, family and friends of people affected by epilepsy and those with developmental disabilities. Services include information and referral, advocacy and case management, non-medical transportation, work skills lab/job coaching/community employment, prescription and benefits assistance, peer support groups, family support network, family camp, and quarterly education programs (Living With Epilepsy series).

Provides one-on-one support and education, educational seminars, parent training workshops, specialized information and referral, family events, parent resource library with Boardmaker program, and presentations and training for professionals and groups.

Provides a wide range of programs for people who have a hearing loss, including system and individual advocacy, independent living training, peer mentoring, speech-to-text services and information and referral. Provides language development support as well that helps children going into school with hearing loss receive support and achieve fluency in American Sign Language

The Autism Society provides information and referrals via a toll-free phone line for autism-related questions and an on-line database with local and national resources. The Autism Society is made up of a nationwide network of chapters designed to provide information and support geographically. The Autism Society hosts an annual and several local conferences and publishes a quarterly magazine, the Autism Advocate. The Autism Society impacts local, state and federal public policy and increases awareness about day-to-day issues and promotes research that leads to applied practices to improve the quality of life for those living with autism.

Provides various monthly community classes such as cooking and nutrition classes, CPR courses, GED classes, fitness classes, and health screenings.

Provides mental health and addiction services, including assessing the need for services, coordinating the planning of mental health and addiction facilities, services and programs in Wood County, Ohio; allocates funds to agencies providing a wide variety of direct services, monitors and evaluates services to ensure high-quality and cost-effective programs, and initiates new programs in the absence of needed community services.
