A cooperative effort of community systems that assists the homeless and near homeless in obtaining housing, economic stability, and an enhanced quality of life through comprehensive services. Does not provide direct services but rather refers to local agencies for assistance.
Supports measures that address the needs of people who are, or are at risk of becoming, homeless including the need for shelter, transitional housing, permanent housing, medical care, and basic human rights. Organizes and empowers homeless and at-risk men, women, and children to break the cycle of poverty through public education, advocacy, and the creation of nurturing environments.
Annual Brunch for mothers and children struggling with homelessness. Held on Mother's Day at Life Care Alliance Catering. Photographs of family, small gifts, library books, health screening are offered. No cost. Volunteer Opportunities as well
