Provides a seven-member elected council that is the legislative oversight of business affairs and policy development for the Village of Gates Mills.

The clerk of courts maintains the records of the court of common pleas and various courts which have exercised appellate jurisdiction on the county level. The records of the common pleas court pertain to all civil cases in which the amount or matter in dispute exceeds the statutory jurisdiction of county or municipal courts, and all felony criminal cases. This court also maintains the records of all domestic relations matter.

Does not perform civil marriages.

Provides the offices of elected members of Lucas County's three member board of supervisors. The Board acts for and on behalf of the county in such matters as have been turned over to them by law. Commissioners also provide public safety and public service programs.

Office of the chief executive officer for the City of Lorain. Elected for a 4-year term. Recognized as the official head of the city by both the courts and the state.

Responsible for filing, docketing, indexing and preserving all court pleadings for civil, felony criminal and domestic relations cases. Follows procedure required by law and issues writs to carry out Court orders. Also responsible for preserving the records for use by future generations.

Responsible for serving and advancing the general welfare of Stow residents through exercising its legislative power.

Serves as the governing body of Richfield Township and rules on all policy issues.

As the principal executive organization of county government, the Board of Commissioners, along with its departments, is committed both to providing efficient government and to promoting the welfare and strategic development of the Athens County Community.

Oversees the operations of the various agencies and offices in Ross County that fall under their jurisdiction. Acts as the legislative and executive body for county government with taxing, budgeting, appropriating, and purchasing authority. Holds title to all county property.
