Inspections are conducted: - To keep chlorine and PH. readings of pool water at a safe level and maintain them for the public. - To insure pool location is safe and all required safety equipment is in place. - Educate pool operators so pool will be operated with few problems (also lifeguards).

Conducts building, electrical, housing, zoning and various other types of inspections of structures within the City of North Ridgeville. Registers specialty permits to all contractors and general public applying to develop within the City of North Ridgeville including electrical, HVAC, and plumbing.

Issues building and occupancy permits for new buildings. Conducts building inspections and provides electrical and heating permits including inspection of sprinkler and hood systems in Medina City businesses. Takes complaints about building code violations including run-down or abandoned commercial, industrial or residential buildings in the city.

Issues permits and inspects residential and commercial buildings in Richland County and the Village of Crestline. Does not cover residences and businesses in the Mansfield city limits. Provides non-Residential/Commercial permits and inspections in Crawford County, including lectrical permits.
