Office is responsible for housing the vast majority of maps and infrastructure construction plans within the City. We maintain current city maps of all types, including zoning maps, flood zone maps, and ward & precinct maps. We also are involved with all aspects of the City's infrastructure, from plan reviews by residential and commercial developers, plan design for our own projects, construction inspection, and project administration and record keeping. We work with nearly every City division to provide technical assistance on their projects or mapping needs.

Performs building inspections and issues building permits for new construction and alterations in the City of North Royalton. Handles complaints about possible building code violations.

Oversees Police, Fire and Building/Code Enforcement Divisions; deals with traffic and parking problems; coordinates erection of parking, handicap, speed limit, etc. signs with the Street Superintendent; serves on Board of Control. Standard Services Provided: Presents traffic orders to Council, issues various licenses (taxi, skating rink, arcade, carnival, theater, ambulance, sidewalk, tree, parking lot); provides weed control program; approves barricade permits and street/curb cuts. Also schedules and coordinates the handling of banners for special events; gives permission for parades, bike races, special walks and other special events; issues junk yard licenses (inside city limits); oversees the litter Prevention/Recycling Program manager.

Issues permits and registration of contractors. Provides building saftey and code inspections. Monitors and enforces all building and zoning codes for Brunswick City.

Investigates crimes and provides prevention programs for the community.

Provides building inspections and building code enforcement activities for the City of Garfield Heights. These include point-of-sale inspections, interior and exterior inspections of all commercial properties, and inspections of residential exteriors. Also provides all necessary residential building permits. Will monitor security of empty buildings by establishing that they are appropriately boarded up. Accepts building code violation reports.

Individuals who examine the construction, alteration or repair of buildings, highways and streets, sewer and water systems, dams, bridges and other structures to ensure compliance with building codes and ordinances, zoning regulations and contract specifications.

Maintains land records and provides construction permits and demolition services for the township. Offers inspections of construction projects to assure compliance with zoning laws and adopted building codes. Takes reports of possible building code violations.

Contracts with a local firm to provide the following services: * Administer engineering of all construction improvements in the City * Complete the surveying work of all improvements in the City * Prepare all plans, profiles and estimates of construction work for the City * Inspection of all public work as directed by the Director of Public Service * Provide professional engineering advice to any City department and/or department supervisor in need of engineering advice and/or counsel * Prepare all documentation required for the securing of easements and/or application for grants * Oversee public works projects * Review, inspect and approve all subdivision improvement plans and the installation of streets and other utility systems

Provides housing inspection and code enforcement services for the City of Maple Heights. Issues all necessary building permits; also issues garage sale permits.

County Engineer is responsible for construction and maintenance of the county's highways, bridges, and drainage systems.

Administers the Licking County subdivision regulation, reviews and updates zoning resolutions and maps for townships and municipalities, assists in the evaluation of land annexations, and provides long-range planning for townships and villages. The office also administers the flood plain regulations, soil erosion & stormwater regulations, and access management regulations.

Provides fire and emergency medical services to a highly integrated suburban area. Service area doubles in population size each work day, wide range of other services also provided; fire inspection investigation, rescue, and hazardous material mitigation.

Provides building inspections and issues building permits for new construction and alterations. Responds to complaints about possible building code violations in the Village of Hunting Valley.

Establishes and enforces zoning regulations which classify land within the village for specific agricultural, residential, commercial or industrial uses. Answers specific questions and publishes information about local building codes and the impact they have on the activities of residents.

Provides building inspections and issues building permits for new construction and alterations and investigates possible building code violations in the City of Pepper Pike.

Responsible for inspecting homes and other structures to ensure that they meet building codes and standards in the Village of LaGrange.

Conducts building, electrical, housing, zoning and various other types of inspections of structures within the City of North Ridgeville. Registers specialty permits to all contractors and general public applying to develop within the City of North Ridgeville including electrical, HVAC, and plumbing.
