Maintains land records containing information such as description of property.

Performs inspections and issues permits for new construction and alterations in the City of Strongsville. Takes complaints about and responds to possible building code violations. Deals with building condemnation/demolition and abandoned building security.

Provides a variety of crime prevention programs including: security surveys of businesses and residences, personal safety information, organization of watch groups, children's safety, and drug awareness programs, speakers on related topics, etc.
