In Delaware County Goodwill partners with the Delaware County Hunger Alliance. Food donations may be dropped off at any of the five Delaware County Goodwill locations. All collections will go to the Delaware County Hunger Alliance who will then distribute them to local food pantries throughout the county.Created in 2012 by the United Way of Delaware County and Delaware General Health District, the Delaware County Hunger Alliance is a cross sector collaboration of community partners committed to connecting our neighbors in need with services that provide access to healthy food options, nutrition education, and resources that promote economic stability.

Provides a pantry of shelf-stable and frozen/refrigerated items, as well as fresh produce. * Portion of food provided by Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank.

Accepts donations from local farmers' markets during summer months to provide to participating agencies offering free fresh produce giveaways.

Accepts donations of non perishable food items. Also accepts donations of new toys and new and used winter coats during the holiday season.

Accepts food and financial donations for distribution to network partners. The most needed items are boxed cereal, peanut butter, canned tuna, canned vegetables, canned beef stew, and canned soup.

Accepting food donations for food pantry. Also accepts donations of personal hygiene items, cleaning supplies, diapers, and paper products.

Provides a food pantry for the Madison School District. Mayflower Congregational Church and Ridgeway First Church of God co-sponsers this food pantry.

Ministry that fills gaps in services by identifying unmet needs in the community and providing services and/or products. Provides the following: * Baby Ministry: Baby products * Baskets of Blessings: Personal care items and household products * Blessed by a Blanket Ministry: Personalized blankets * Cleaning Coach: Volunteers provide cleaning coaching for families * Fresh Start Host Ministry: Coaching and classes are offered * Freezer Ministry: Freezer meals for clients * Friends in Need Ministry: Gift card support * Gas Vouchers: Provide gas cards to approved clients * Gift Ministry: Birthday gifts and party boxes (cake or cake mix/icing, decorations, candles, etc.) * Kitchen Starter Kits: Provides important kitchen items and small appliances * Linen Closet: Sheets, pillow cases, blankets, mattress pads * School Supply Ministry: Backpacks and school supplies * Shoes for Souls: New and used shoes of all sizes and colors * Winter Coat Ministry: Coats, gloves, scarves and hats * Faith-based messaging is part of service.

Accepts donations of new and gently used seasonal clothing (business attire, school clothes and uniforms, new socks/underwear, all in sizes up to extra-large), bedding/linen, and school supplies. Accepts donations of new personal care supplies (including infant supplies and diapers for children), new toys and games and. Dropped off items are never resold. Donations to the Crossroads Mens'program include bus tickets, new seasonal clothing (expecially large sizes), new socks, new underwear and t-shirts, new bedding and linens (twin sized sheets), Cold Medications and Cough Drops for adults; Large Size Toiletries (Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash*, Soap*, Deodorant*, Toothpaste/Toothbrushes, Petroleum Jelly/Vaseline); and New Living Translations Paperback Bibles. Gift ideas for men may include: Good Razors and Shaving Cream; Combs; Men's After Shave or Cologne; Backpacks or Duffel Bags; Shower shoes or flip flops; New Dress or Polo Shirts and Clothing (especially large sizes); Wallets; Cleveland Sports Gear (t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, etc.); Journals; and Devotionals.

The Wherehouse is made possible by 6 churches uniting to help the community. They are only open the third full week of each month. They provide food for those in need. Anyone living in Champaign County is eligible. Families receive a box of food that lasts about 5-6 days.

Accepts donations of nonperishable food items and garden produce from the general public and provides advice and information on promoting and executing a successful food drive. Accepts non perishable food (no glass containers). Packaging must be intact and expiration dates must not have expired. Will accept a minimum of 30 lbs. of prepared foods only from businesses or individuals who are licensed to handle food. Also accepts large donations from food manufacturers and food delivery drivers with extra cargo. Donated items are never resold.

Accepts new donations of diapers, baby wipes, formula, food (including fresh produce), personal hygiene products, toiletries, household cleaning products, detergents, holiday items, and other food resources.
