Provides a toll-free phone service for those facing mortgage foreclosure. The client calls a central phone line that then connects them to other agencies that provide over-the-phone mortgage foreclosure counseling. After being transferred, client will be given advice on how to deal with or avoid foreclosure. Individuals can also visit the website to begin an online counseling session. Counselors are HUD certified and can act as a third party if the client needs to contact their loan servicer. In cases where there is little chance of saving the home, counselor will advise on strategies to minimize financial loss.
