Provides a library featuring books, periodicals, and audiovisual materials on the subject of gardening, botany, horticulture, nature study, conservation, and environmental issues. Offers materials that detail the educational aspects of these subjects with an emphasis on elementary grade curricula for school teachers. Also features a collection of rare books.

By statute, the Law Library provides a professional legal collection for judges, prosecutors, attorneys, and county officials, as well as assistance to the general public. Reference Services Policy: The Law Librarian will assist users in the location of information and materials needed to support legal research and offer instruction in the use of these tools. Reference service does not include performing research for the user or the offering of legal advice or opinions. The Law Librarian may offer library services to assist legal professionals in their research efforts, but they are not authorized to give legal advice or practice law. Provides the largest American history research center in northern Ohio. Holdings consist of 235,000 books, 25,000 volumes of newspapers, 30,500 rolls of microfilm, 1,000,000 prints and photographs. and more than 3000 collections of manuscripts and archives. The focus of the library is on the growth and development of Cleveland and that portion of northern Ohio once known as the Connecticut Western Reserve. Maintains ethnically specific genealogies and archives as well. Provides periodic genealogy classes.

Career counselors provide guidance in career decision-making through assessment testing, volunteering, informational interviewing, job shadowing, or temporary work. Counselors assist with creating a plan. Offers computers for job-related searches and helps proofread resumes.

Provides information and referral to cancer-related and other resources. Counselors can assist with finding information on local resources as well as provide emotional support. Also offers a physical library that houses books, pamphlets, DVDs and other materials related to cancer.

Provides a library on cancer-related topics with over 2,000 books, videos, CDs, DVDs, and compact discs, all materials are available to borrow. The library is staffed full-time by a professional librarian.

Operates a circulating library for information on cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Offers books, journals, videos, and audio-cassettes. Also provides free information pamphlets and brochures for patrons to keep.

Offers a Lending Library with resources relating to bipolar and similar disorders. Many titles and topics are available. Items may be checked out one at a time on an honor system. Occasional book discussion groups may be offered occasionally.

Provides a reference library of materials pertaining to occupational health and safety in the work place open to employers and other professionals as well as the public.
