Provides a specialized library of over 60,000 volumes focusing on the natural sciences. The library currently receives 650 different titles of periodicals through subscriptions, gifts and inter-institutional exchanges. Also has a large collection of maps, reprint and pamphlet files, slides and audio materials, and some extremely rare book collections of Audubon, Gould, Curtis and North-American Indians. In addition, houses archival records about the Museum, professional papers, and special collections about people/events associated with the Museum.
Houses an archive of print, audio, visual and digital media relating to the musical, cultural and financial history of rock and roll. Collection includes a variety of books, posters, newspaper clippings, personal letters, financial records, CDs and DVDs. All materials are non-circulating.
Operates a circulating library for information on cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Offers books, journals, videos, and audio-cassettes. Also provides free information pamphlets and brochures for patrons to keep.
Provides the largest American history research center in northern Ohio. Holdings consist of 235,000 books, 25,000 volumes of newspapers, 30,500 rolls of microfilm, 1,000,000 prints and photographs. and more than 3000 collections of manuscripts and archives. The focus of the library is on the growth and development of Cleveland and that portion of northern Ohio once known as the Connecticut Western Reserve. Maintains ethnically specific genealogies and archives as well. Provides periodic genealogy classes.

Provides an extensive library of psychoanalytic literature, including over 6,000 books and bound volumes of professional periodicals. Special collections include books on applied psychoanalysis, and classic texts. The library is open to the public; borrowing privileges available to members and students enrolled at the Center.
Provides a center; that contains Bach-related manuscripts and first editions. Publishes an international Bach journal. Facilities include a research library, a vault, staff offices, and a listening room.
Offers a variety of services to caregivers. Services are designed to fill gaps in current community services. Included are reimbursements for limited and temporary respite care, caregiver training to assist in the areas of health, nutrition, financial literacy, and in making decisions and solving problems related to caregiving roles. Support groups, information about services available to caregivers, a lending library, and individual training for caregivers in the home are also offered.
