Provides public insurance to cover medical services to those of any age who require long term care, which may include doctor visits, some prescription drugs, hospital care, home care, long-term care, medical equipment, transportation, mental health, vision, dental, substance abuse services and other services. Speakers And Workshops - Labor Issues | United Labor Agency

Provides speakers on labor issues for union and retiree meetings, and other organizations or events. Also speakers are available during the United Way campaign to assist local unions with their solicitations. In addition, offers workshops to train volunteer employees to be "UCAN (Union Community Activist Network) activists" for their respective places of employment. The training is related to issues of concern that may arise in the work place. The workshops can also be designed for a specific local union membership to attend at their own union hall.

Homeless Outreach Collaborative | Northeast Ohio Coalition For The Homeless

Operates as a collaborative of agencies that work with unsheltered people. Takes reports of where homeless people are and then goes out to that location to help them find needed services such as shelter and treatment. Accepts reports such as: group of homeless people have been hanging out on the street; homeless person wandering in the neighborhood; homeless person sleeping behind house. This is not an emergency service. Does not handle reports of violent or criminal activity.
