The Dayton Service Committee of Narcotics Anonymous Public Information Committee provides presentations about Narcotics Anonymous to the public. Presentations are available for all members of professional, school, clergy, health care and correctional facilities.

Provides presentations on autism and its impact on families to various community groups and classes. Offers support to various community and organizational events by hosting a table with brochures and information on autism.

Provides information and prevention programs on the topic of rape, sexual assault, child abuse and dating violence as well as bystander intervention. Information is distributed through conferences, speaking engagements and in-service training sessions. Also offers workshops, training and education sessions for parents, students, teachers and community members on sexual violence prevention. Trains professionals on the topic of trauma, trauma & addictions.

Provides printed information and speakers on the topic of alcohol abuse and driving.

Provides parenting classes, domestic violence classes for men and women, classes for community education and professional training about the nature and extent of domestic violence. Topics include dating violence, healthy relationships, domestic violence, and stalking.

Offers information about lupus and makes referrals to rheumatologists. Provides speakers who will discuss the cause and cure for lupus. Offers new patient education classes and membership in the Lupus Foundation of America.

Provides expert speakers who are available to speak on a wide variety of topics concerning animals, nature and the environment for community groups. Also offers programs for those in nursing homes and hospitals.

Provides volunteer training and opportunities for adults. Opportunities include: serving as receptionist; teaching and coordinating classes, planning special events, setting up tables and chairs, serving on committees, working in garden centers, transporting isolated senior to personal appointments, baking for special sales, and working in the library .

Provides educational programs for community organizations and businesses. A variety of programs are available, with a focus on issues related to independent living and employment for people with disabilities.

Offers information and referral services and provides printed materials regarding eye health and safety. Provides trained speakers who can discuss prevention of eye injuries, eye diseases, and related eye topics.

Education and outreach to Amish families includes information about of the importance of testing newborn children, consistent medical treatment of children, dietary requirements, etc. Research is done on metabolic and genetic disorders, and the findings are shared with medical professionals and other researchers. Special attention is paid to diseases prevalent in the Amish community. Speakers are available for any civic, church, community, or professional groups, and a newsletter is published twice a year.

During the summer, also provides a supplemental voucher to each client for fruits and vegetables from selected local growers (Farmers' Market Nutrition Program) - these are available while supplies last.
