Provides information and assistance to teen drivers, traffic safety advocates for teen driver safety, parents, schools, service groups, SADD Chapters (and other teen groups), and information/statistics for media and agencies that use such information.

Offers substance abuse prevention programs to schools and community groups. Presentations focus on curriculum development for substance abuse prevention in schools and communities, as well as drug education.

Works to coordinate planning to address the problem of homelessness, and studies proposed solutions, including recommendations of outreach workers and the homeless themselves. Available to make presentations to community groups regarding homelessness, often with a homeless or formerly homeless person participating in the presentation. Hosts regular meetings with homeless people to inform advocacy position. Publishes regular updates on public policy issues.

Provides non-partisan information on local, state, and national candidates and issues; publications on a wide variety of local, state, and national public issues; and speakers' bureau. Publishes annual directory of local, state, and national elected officials (available in March); also offers study committees for members and educational forums for the community and members.

Provides speakers on labor issues for union and retiree meetings, and other organizations or events. Also speakers are available during the United Way campaign to assist local unions with their solicitations. In addition, offers workshops to train volunteer employees to be "UCAN (Union Community Activist Network) activists" for their respective places of employment. The training is related to issues of concern that may arise in the work place. The workshops can also be designed for a specific local union membership to attend at their own union hall.

Provides information on fetal development and organization's philosophy that advocates stopping abortion, infanticide, and euthanasia. Provides brochures, fact sheets, a newsletter (On the Land), and an e-news letter to inform the public on these issues.

Provides supplemental food card that includes staple foods, fruits and vegetables; nutrition education; breastfeeding education; support and counseling; and referral services to eligible women and children. During the summer also provides a one-time $30 supplemental voucher to a limited number of participants for fruits and vegetables from selected local growers (Farmers' Market Nutrition Program), available while supplies last. Also offers speakers who discuss the program and the value of good nutrition.

Offers education to consumers on ways to reduce energy use, utility costs, and what the law requires of those who provide utility services.

Offers outreach, education and awareness programs for all audiences to learn about human trafficking. Provides specialized training and technical assistance for human trafficking service providers. Convenes and manages NE Ohio's Anti-trafficking coalition. Provides referrals and resources for providers and victims of human trafficking.

Informs, provides opportunities, and encourages members and others to contact local, state, and federal legislators about pending legislation on a variety of issues. Provides speakers, workshops, hearings, and forums on public policy issues.

Provides information sessions, speakers, and presentations to schools, service groups and community organizations. Topics may include such topics as water quality, non point source pollution, storm water management, and erosion and sediment control. Provides printed materials to inform the public on these issues.

Provides volunteer training and opportunities for youth. Opportunities are available in most departments of the museum, such as animal care, education and the Planetarium.

Provides speakers, films, and slide presentations to the general community on topics regarding the homeless population.

Promotes the rights of workers by educating the broader community about workplace abuses, helping workers improve employment standards, and supporting workers' rights to organize. Offers educational programs, speakers, and printed materials about workers' issues, such as workers' rights and free trade. Offers workers the opportunity to report abuse and violations of wage theft and other worker issues that may be system wide. Does not provide direct services for individuals, but does offer membership for persons interested in supporting workers rights.

Provides knowledgeable speakers for a wide variety of horticultural, environmental, and ecological topics including (but not limited to): gardening, wildlife, conservation, and how to instill an appreciation for the natural world in younger children.

Provides a connection for public education programs, camps speakers bureaus, and professional education.

Provides speakers on issues related to caring for older adults. Sessions are approximately one hour, with 30 minutes dedicated to speaker time and 30 minutes for questions. Some commonly requested topics include the following: Demystifying Older Adult Services, Care and Communication of Those Living with Alzheimer's/Dementia, The Importance of Faith in Senior Care, and Adult Day Programs: Supporting In-home Caregivers and Introduction to the Sacred Art of Living and Dying.
