Provides a membership association for area health care institutions that focuses on maintaining financial viability of member hospitals, developing and addressing the future needs of the area's health care workforce and maintaining the health status of the community. Accomplishes these goals through research, political advocacy, and appropriate collaboration with other community organizations. Offers recommendations and physician referrals.

Collects and analyzes human services data captured at the neighborhood level in Cleveland, for each city and suburb in Cuyahoga County, and for other areas in the 16-county region. Results are made available to individuals and agencies for planning purposes, and are distributed via the website and, in some cases, in printed publications. Special research projects may be undertaken by request.

Collects statistics on incidents of anti-gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and intimate partner/domestic violence, sexual violence, and stalking. Operates as a Regional Trauma Organization (RTO). Manages a regional trauma registry and is responsible for submission of trauma data to the state of Ohio Trauma Registry on behalf of our hospital members in accordance with Ohio Revised Code 4765. Receives trauma data from hospitals in 33 of Ohio's 88 counties. Provides statistical data to area hospitals, governments, researchers and injury prevention groups on trauma trends in Central and Southeast/Southeast Central Ohio.
