Partners with retail, industrial and agricultural businesses to offer members services such as: educational programming, legislative updates, newsletters, networking opportunities, business to business referrals, community-wide promotions, group healthcare coverage at reduced rates, a worker's compensation pool, and cooperative purchasing for various products and services. Answers general questions about the Middlefield area for businesses and individuals considering moving there.

Member benefits may include publicity and advertising opportunities in vehicles such as member directories, visitor's guides and a community calendar; ribbon cutting ceremonies and grand openings for new establishments; business expos; job fairs; small business counseling; business seminars; member referrals; member-to-member discounts; health and other insurance; and a variety of social activities.

Also encourages volunteerism and sponsors community events such as food drives and easter egg hunts. Will not advocate or engage in politics with the city or other government entity.

Offers programs to connect the LGBT business community and allies through proactive business development. Advocates workplace equality and serves as a point of connection for corporations, supporters, LGBT businesses, and professionals.

Provides referrals to local human service organizations, distributes information for newcomers, publishes a bi-monthly newsletter.
