Provide services for developmentally disabled children and adults of Columbiana County. Offers an integrated continuum of education, training and family support services to eligible persons with developmental disabilities, for the entire span of life. Provide after hours emergency services.

- Screens for a wide variety of services and programs available to seniors and / or adults with disabilities. - Collects client information and then determines what programs they are eligible for. - Will help fill out paperwork for programs and services such as HEAP, Medicaid, and various types of insurance. - Assistance with unemployment forms is restricted to advising clients on the types of documents they need to complete the forms required by Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.

Administers the programs for Montgomery County Board of Developmental Disabilities Services.

Provides formal supervision for those awaiting trial or on community control (probation) as ordered by the court. Supervises probationers and monitors compliance to the conditions of their probation as well as providing other services such as referrals for social services. Specialized probation services provided for those needing intensive supervision such as those who are mentally disordered offenders, mentally retarded offenders, and sex offenders. Places offenders into drug treatment when needed. Provides case management for those in drug treatment and acts as a liaison between the court, client, and treatment facility. Also supervises persons in the work release and home detention programs.

Provides a variety of personal enrichment, recreational, and social activities such as seasonal parties, special events, occasional trips, computer classes, and games.

Provides residential camp experiences for children and adults with disabilities. Includes activities such as swimming, arts and crafts, horsemanship activities, campfires, fishing, nature study, and canoeing.

Provides total care services for those with developmental disabilities at their facilities (Center Ridge House, Haven Home, and Blossom Hill.) Services include individual plans, vocational training, speech, occupational and physical therapy, recreational activities, nutritional and psychological services and 24-hour nursing care.

Services focus on the inclusion of children with disabilities and include helping families find child care and preschool programs, workshops, information and referral, as well as training and on-site consultation for teachers/professionals.

Offers variety of resources and supports to promote community inclusion for adults diagnosed with developmental disabilities.

Provides year round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of sports to individuals with developmental disabilities.

Assists individuals with mental illness with accessing needed supports and services in order to enhance daily life skills. The goal is to improve independence in the community and reduce the impact of mental illness on daily functioning.

Mental Health organization, information and support for children and adults with Attention Deficit Disorders.

Provides supports needed by client (based on assessed needs) to continue living in the community. These waivers can be used to pay for a wide range of services to pay for housing, in-home services (such as help with meal preparation and household chores) and other services to maintain the independence of the client (such as transportation, help with budgeting, and life skills training as needed). There are three types of waivers depending on the level of the client's needs. The Individual Options (IO) Waiver is for people who may need a lot of help in their home and who may need many different kinds of services. The Level One Waiver is for people who do not need a lot of paid staff to provide services. Usually people using a Level One Waiver only need help with a few things, or they have people who can help them with some of the things they need, like cooking meals, taking showers, or driving places. The Self-Empowered Life Funding (SELF) Waiver is for people who want to be in charge of some of their services. Those with a SELF Waiver can be in charge of hiring and training the people that provide services and manage their own budget for services. The board can help the individual select which waiver is right for them, and can help the client locate service providers who can accept the waiver.

Provides scholarships to students age 3-22 who are on the spectrum and have a medical diagnosis. Scholarship can be used at the participating school and/or private service provider(s) of student's choice and is renewable through high school graduation or the student's 22nd birthday. Scholarships are worth up to $32,445 a year.

Investigates cases of alleged abuse (physical, sexual, verbal, etc.) and neglect, any health or safety issue, or misappropriation situations for adults and children with developmental disabilities.

Offers a therapeutic camp for youth with developmental and/or physical disabilities located at Camp Christopher. Provides a 1:5 ratio of supervision for youth. Activities may include swimming, archery, camp fires, hiking, horseback riding, exploring nature and boating.

Provides training towards placement in sheltered employment.

Provides funding for sensory items and various equipment for children with autism.
