Offers a Nutritionist who gives onsite nutritional consultations and teaches cooking classes.

Helps women undergoing cancer treatment to cope with the appearance-related side effects of treatment and to regain a sense of self-confidence and control over their lives. Education, information and support are provided in group sessions at various locations. Volunteer cosmetologists teach make-up techniques and provide complimentary cosmetics and skin care products. Use of wigs, turbans, scarves and other accessories is also taught. Participants are given a make-up kit with new cosmetics to take home.

Provides a wide range of weekly or monthly support groups for those with health conditions or social desparity, and their families and/or caregivers. Support groups offered include: a variety of cancers, brain injuries, obesity, heart disease, stroke (adult and older adult groups), idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP), and hydrocephalus. Perry County Cancer Alliance offers financial assistance to residents of Perry County, Ohio who have been diagnosed with cancer. It was established in 1999, and over 1,000,000.00 has been donated to Perry County residents who have been treated for cancer in the past twenty years.
