The education/information function of the Fair Housing Program is the major tool used to increase public awareness of the laws and citizens' rights. This function is provided through numerous activities such as newspaper articles, public seminars, continuing education programs, brochures, speaking engagements, information booths at community fairs, home information demonstrations, and any other means that reach the public.
Information is also provided to the community regarding government housing, available rental housing, Section 8 guidelines, and any other housing related resources that will assist clients in obtaining the housing of their choice.
