Offers an in-person 6-hour public training for professionals from all sectors, with the goal of helping individuals better understand the framework of poverty. Explains obstacles experienced by individuals in generational poverty and how to best eliminate those obstacles without compromising services and standards to professionals interested in changing poverty in Summit County and providing beneficial services.

Establishes and enforces licensing and certification standards for social workers, counselors, marriage and family therapists, art therapists, and music therapists. Issues or revokes licenses and certificates. Takes disciplinary action for noncompliance with standards.

Offers information on upcoming trainings and events for continuing education credits.
