Provides free 3 week Patient Care Assistant (PCA), 6 week Phlebotomy, and 16 week and Medical Assistant trainings. A 3 week internship in a medical setting is included following training completion. Includes career counseling and connections to employment along with a variety of supportive services.

Provides paramedic training and ensures that the medical supplies and equipment that paramedics use is refurbished regularly in order to ensure the safety of the community.

Establishes and maintains standards, registration, practice and professional conduct for physicians (Medical Doctors, Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine, and Doctors of Podiatric Medicine), acupuncturists, anesthesiologist assistants, dietitians, genetic counselors, massage therapists, physician assistants, radiologist assistants, and respiratory therapists. Enforces the laws and rules governing the practice of medicine in the state of Ohio.

Provides training in the technical competencies required to become a Registered Medical Assistant. Coursework covers topics such as medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and electronic medical records. The training program is self-paced, lasting approximately 34 weeks.

Offers online tools for consumers to check on credentials and any disciplinary action history of medical professionals and allied health professionals licensed by the State Medical Board of Ohio, including physicians (Medical Doctors, Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine, and Doctors of Podiatric Medicine), acupuncturists, anesthesiologist assistants, dietitians, genetic counselors, massage therapists, physician assistants, radiologist assistants, and respiratory therapists.
