Provides programming from a Chabad - Chassidic philosophy to assist family members, couples, and individuals to understand preparation for marriage, home maintenance traditions, sexual relations, child development and money management. Rabbis provide one-to-one, couples, or family counseling on a variety of problem areas.

Acts as central planning agency for Jewish community events and programs.

Offers youth development programs for Jewish youth such as community service opportunities, leadership training institutes, conventions, summer programs, and travel opportunities to Israel and 18 other counties.

Maintains a database that list volunteer opportunities and makes referrals to those agencies needing volunteers. Volunteers serve in various capacities such as at soup kitchens, food pantries, holiday parties and meals and collecting needed items such as food and personal supplies. Most assignments are longer term, but short-term assignments available four times a year. Some opportunities are targeted to the Jewish community, such as collecting Kosher food and planting flowers and cleanup at a Jewish cemetery.

Provides general information regarding the Columbus Jewish Community and Israel.

Builds and maintains strong relations with Jewish communities and other ethnic, religious, and minority communities. Assists to resolve conflicts between groups. Educates members about Jewish traditions and the traditions of other religious and cultural groups. Will provide educational programs in the community regarding relations between Jewish communities and other groups. Offers a variety of books and other printed materials about the Jewish faith and Jewish life.

Serves Jewish children who are in need and will benefit from adult companionship. Seeks to enrich children's lives by providing support, friendship, understanding and stability. Potential Big Brothers/Big Sisters are interviewed and matched with a child. The adults are asked to commit to see their matched child twice a month for one year.

Program sponsors educational programs including workshops on human relations, inter-religious activities, and prejudice. Provides a speakers bureau and film library about Jews, Judaism, Israel, and the Jewish community.

Support and resources to help older adults maintain independence and improve quality of life. Services include case management, care coordination, benefits assistance, caregiver support, social and wellness programs, and connections to community resources. Staff assist with navigating aging-related needs and accessing available services.

Provides a variety of recreational activities, personal enrichment classes and social clubs/events for the Jewish community from a Chabad - Chassidic perspective.

Provides a choice food pantry with kosher canned and fresh food. Foods may include a variety of breads, fruit, vegetables, canned goods and grains.

Administers scholarships, interest-free loans, and grants to eligible students who are enrolled in accredited institutions of higher education. Grants and loans are based on need and available funds. Funds may be used toward tuition and education fees. Scholarships are awarded in competition with other students who have met application requirements.

Provides services which seek to have existing civil rights and anti-discrimination laws enforced, and to secure justice and fair treatment for all people. Involved in inter-group relations and combating extremism. Accepts and seeks to resolve discrimination complaints.

Provides trained benefits counselors who help people determine what benefits and government programs they may be eligible for. Assists in applying for benefits and advocates for those in need. Makes referrals to agencies that provide appropriate services.

Case management and supportive services for individuals and families experiencing financial hardship, instability, or other life challenges. Staff offer assessment, goal planning, resource navigation, and referrals to community supports, including access to food, housing, employment, and emergency financial resources.
