Support group that assists women with anger, violence and substance abuse issues in developing tools, coping skills and techniques that promote improved family, relational and societal functioning. Includes anger management, parenting, relapse prevention, employment assistance, goal setting, time and financial management, holistic health and roots of violence education.

Provides a residential treatment facility for women suffering from addiction to alcohol or other drugs. Length of stay is determined by medical necessity, with average stay of 4 months. Aftercare referrals provided which may include referral to Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). Maximum length of in-patient stay is four (4) four months. Two months of aftercare are provided.

Provides programs, courses, and activities to encourage and support women seeking quality education, economic opportunity, and community involvement.

Offers housing to chronically homeless and seriously mentally ill individuals who have moved beyond the need for immediate emergency shelter. Offers supportive case management and stability while residents learn basic living skills and secure a more permanent housing solution.

Provides residential extended care program for women recovering from substance abuse and mental illness. Helps build skills to become self-sufficient and addresses issues such as mental health, addiction, trauma due to abuse, family and relationships, body image, and relapses.

Supports emerging leaders as they gain practical knowledge and skills to create significant social change in their community. The program engages participants in activities that connect them with local resources and introduces them to ideas that align with social justice interests and talents. Participants engage in workshops with community experts working in organizations that create social change.

Provides a transitional residential treatment program for women who are recovering from alcohol and/or drug addiction. Program is meant to be a step down for those who have completed an intensive treatment program and who are in need of a less supervision.

GHRO Your Future is a life-skills development and mentoring program designed for girls ages 12-18, that runs annually from September-May. Each participant is matched with a strong female leader from the community for monthly check-ins to discuss personal goals and ambitions, while providing social and emotional support. In bi-weekly workshops, participants engage in academic support, career exploration, high school and workforce readiness, leadership development, mental and physical wellness, and confidence building.

Provides trauma informed substance use and mental health treatment services designed specifically to eliminate the barriers that inhibit treatment for women. Services may include childcare, transportation, treatment, support groups, vocational services, and a parent resource center.

Assists participants in securing and maintaining a one-bedroom apartment located within Summit County. Provides intensive Case Management, housing placement, security deposit, monthly rental assistance, utility assistance (one time only), bus passes, moving costs (one time only), bus passes, group outings, and other miscellaneous items.

Transitional housing program for female ex-offenders, providing comprehensive services including employment placement/coaching, quality housing, access to primary and behavioral healthcare, family reunification, professional case management, and life coaching as participants reestablish themselves in positive familial and community roles.

Maintains 140 housing units throughout Columbus. Provides safe places for women and their children to focused on sobriety and healthy relationships. Apartments are fully furnished so that families can focus on recovery. Provides various support services include counseling, parenting education, case management, and prevention, independent living skills instruction, career guidance, employment services and linkage to community resources.

Provides transitional housing for women recovering from any crisis including from an addiction, mental illness and/or following release from a correctional facility.

Provides non-medical chemical dependency treatment in a residential setting for women. Program length based on need (approximately 30-90 days). Substance abuse counseling education and case management are provided.

Works to build leadership skills in young women. Participants gather for training sessions and panel discussions covering topics such as leadership development, social justice and positive self-image.

Offers two (2) women's conferences each year.

Provides outpatient addiction treatment and trauma services to women without permanent supportive housing needs. Offers gender specific, trauma sensitive program for women, pregnant women, and women with children who are recovering from alcohol and/or drug addiction. Support services include individual and group counseling, abuse counseling, smoke cessation and prevention, and linkage to community resources.

Offers a wide range of supervised, structured outpatient services for women who have problems related to substance use disorder, who need access to treatment to maintain their individual recovery plans but do not require the intensity of 24-hour hospital care.

Provides transitional housing for women recovering from any crisis including from an addiction, mental illness and/or following release from a correctional facility.

Provides abstinence-based, 12-step environments within which an individual with substance use disorder related issues receives supportive services while living in accordance with a regimen of daily sobriety.

Mental illness is a complex group of conditions that affect a person’s mood, thinking, and behavior. In our outpatient programs, we treat the following illnesses: Depression Anxiety PTSD Bipolar Disorder Borderline Personality Disorder Our program begins with a mental and physical health assessment. Based on your assessment and your needs, our team will recommend a treatment plan that typically includes a combination of talk therapy, holistic therapies, peer-to-peer support groups, and medication management. Dual Diagnosis for Co-Occurring Disorders Sometimes people with mental health issues are also struggling with substance abuse. Together, we’ll develop a treatment plan that addresses your needs and all of your symptoms. What Does Help Look Like We offer a wide range of therapy, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness training, family education and counseling, and fitness and wellness education. When you’re in outpatient mental health treatment, whether you are stepping down from inpatient care or beginning treatment as an outpatient, your plan will include one of two programs. Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) For people who need to maintain a work, home, or school schedule, our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) offers comprehensive outpatient services in a day or evening format. Typically, this program lasts two to four weeks and meets five to six days a week. You’ll participate in several sessions each day, including individual, group, and family therapy. You’ll also have opportunities to enjoy our beautiful grounds and take part in holistic activities like yoga, music, and art. Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) Your treatment plan may include our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), which meets three to five days a week for a minimum of nine hours per week. This program offers group and family therapy, as well as medication management, skill development, and long-term recovery planning. Before you complete the program, we’ll make sure that any ongoing treatment you need is aligned with your aftercare provider. Some of the discussion areas for outpatient mental health treatment include triggers and warning signs, self-identity and self-esteem, coping skills, relapse stages and prevention, and understanding emotions and moods.

Provides alcohol and drug-free transitional housing with supportive services to single women who have completed a certified treatment program. House is monitored by a housing manager. Supportive services include case management services, daily living skills, employment skills and marketing techniques, Getting Ahead, recovery coaching, and transportation assistance. - Note: This is NOT a homeless shelter.

social and community oriented group for lesbian women age 40 and over. The focus of the group is to facilitate social events and develop outreach services to assist others. The group is also intended to be a safe place for lesbians to meet and socialize with other women.
