Outpatient Partial Hospitalization & Intensive Outpatient Therapy for adults and children as young as 12 years of age. The following illnesses are treated: Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Bipolar Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder. Our program begins with a mental and physical health assessment. Based on your assessment and your needs, our team will recommend a treatment plan that typically includes a combination of talk therapy, holistic therapies, peer-to-peer support groups, and medication management. Sometimes people with mental health issues are also struggling with substance abuse. A treatment plan that addresses individuals needs and symptoms will be developed.

Practical Parenting | Women's Recovery Center

Provides education regarding the effects on children of witnessing violence and substance abuse, as well as parenting skill development for those with children in these situations. Topics include the impact of violence on child development, characteristics of children who have witnessed violence, family roles, effective discipline, and communication skills. Child care is currently available during classes due to COVID 19. Class meets requirements of local justice systems, county children services agency, hospitals, health centers, and schools. Class is taught by a licensed therapist and is limited to 10 participants.

Prevention, Retention And Contingency (PRC) - Disaster / Fire Victims | Cuyahoga County Job And Family Services

Provides aid to families in the form of a voucher to buy items or pay for emergency services related to establishing a household after the family has suffered a disaster. MAY BE USED FOR: rent payment and/or security deposit ($750 maximum), stoves and refrigerators (maximum $200); baby furniture; children's beds/mattresses (maximum $250), and children's clothing (up to $150 per child); replacement of adult clothing due to fire or flood (up to $225); general furniture (couch, table, etc. - up to $400). MAY NOT BE USED FOR: entertainment furniture (such as a TV or a radio), washers or dryers (unless it is essential for an applicant's employment or needed due to a disability), mortgage payments. YEARLY CASH LIMITS: $1,500 total during the calendar year (may be $750 for certain non-custodial parents).

Assistance with Protection Orders, court appearances, police reports, and related issues; court accompaniment, and assisted through the legal system on varying issues (filing charges, etc.) responds 24/7 to Hospital and provides Rapid Response to law enforcement as requested.

Provides justice system advocacy, support and information for victims and witnesses of crime. Advocates facilitate interactions between the client and law enforcement officers and other court personnel, accompany victims to court, obtaining a civil protection order, and assist in the completion of victim impact statements and requests for victim notification. Provides application forms and information about filing a claim for victim compensation. Offers counseling, crisis intervention, and referrals. Will provide speakers who can give presentations about agency services and crime victim topics.

Provides confidential counseling with a mental health professional for victims of domestic violence. Offers counseling for children who have witnessed or experienced some type of abuse or violence. Provides family therapy and parent education focused on helping the household to recover from past abuse, violence, or other traumatic events. Seeks also to prevent abuse within families who may be at risk due to a variety of stressors including: large family size, teenage single parenting, financial problems, drug problems, special needs children, etc. Teaches how to deal with child and parent anger issues, to handle conflicts and manage stress, to recognize cues from children and address their needs, to administer reward and punishment, and to build better communication among family members.
