Provides assistance with Individual Education Programs for special education, school suspensions and expulsions, access to education and other education issues.

Provides assistance with navigating the process to withdraw children from attending school in their designated school districts and applying to allow parents the educate their children at home. Also provides help navigating the enrollment process for a variety of community schools.

Provides detailed information to parents on their schooling options. Parents can use the information to compare schools they are considering for their children. Information includes the following: public school report cards; yearly rankings by the state department of education; scholarship availability for private education; individual counseling with parents to help determine best school choices; special needs education; and help with understanding the types of schools and programs available.

Forges strategic alliances among education, business, civic and community leaders that increase the educational aspirations and achievement of all Summit County children.

Provides leadership training for teens to work towards creating a culture of kindness, caring, and mutual respect. Offers workshops, community events, school programs, positive role modeling, web sites and media programs. Also offers programs related to problems teens may be facing such as bullying, school violence, and other inappropriate behaviors, and will answer any related questions about these issues.
