Provides mutual support groups whose members are people who have Parkinson's Disease, their families, and friends. The groups provide an opportunity for participants to share information, practical tips for daily living, and encouragement about issues related to the problem.

Services could include: temporary housing, meals, basic needs, literacy, GED, vocational training, career training, mentorship, small groups, job placement, mental health care, financial literacy and spiritual care. Potential guests who do not want to participate in the program and do not have a valid reason for refusing to participate (such as a medical need) will not be able to stay that night. They can return at any time, even on the same day, if they change their mind about participating.

Provides funding for sensory items and various equipment for children with autism.

Provides supplemental food card that includes staple foods, fruits and vegetables; nutrition education; breastfeeding education; support and counseling; and referral services to eligible women and children. During the summer also provides a one-time $30 supplemental voucher to a limited number of participants for fruits and vegetables from selected local growers (Farmers' Market Nutrition Program), available while supplies last. Also offers speakers who discuss the program and the value of good nutrition.

Provides developmentally appropriate training and activities for children ages 0-3 years old and their families. Children must be identified with at least one delay in development or are at-risk.

Provides a health care advice line staffed by a registered nurse. Advice about injuries, sickness, health questions, or plan of action for a particular condition.

Provides free, one-on-one financial counseling by professionally trained coaches. Teaches individuals and families skills to budget, save, develop healthy banking relationships, and improve credit scores. Provides legacy planning to review and organize assets, review insurance and titles, and connect clients to free resources to prepare legacy planning documents. Also provides assistance with defaulted student loans.

Provides family-based Treatment Foster Care for children and youth who have been removed from their homes due to childhood trauma or other unsafe conditions, and require more than the basic care, support, love, and nurturing that regular, or “traditional” foster care placements provide. We train, support, and supervise caring foster parents to provide treatment aimed at healing, teaching new coping skills, and helping each child find peace and happiness.

Provides caregivers with information on support groups, in-home services, and other long-term care options. Online caregiver training also offers caregivers new information and skills.

Provides the opportunity to get assistance with issues related to parenting, to apply for needed benefits, to participate in a job training program with the goal of employment, and to discuss with a case manager a plan for family success with a professional social worker. Families also receive at least two home visits and two parent-teacher conferences.

LASCO will provide bed bug information booklets to qualified callers. They do not provide one-on-one legal assistance but these booklets will provide information for renters on what to do and what to expect as it relates to tenants rights.
