Helps individuals with disabilities achieve greater independence by training and placing service and skilled companion dogs to aid with the individual’s daily needs. Program includes trained service dogs, skilled companion dogs (therapy dogs), and school facility dogs.

Offers passes for all the monuments, historic sites, recreation areas, and national wildlife refuges that charge an entrance fee. Access Passes are for individuals with permanent disabilities and the Senior Pass is for older adults 62 and over. An Annual Pass is available to the general public and waives entrance fees. Annual Passes must be renewed each year. All passes also include free admittance to parks managed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, U.S. Forest Service, and Bureau of Land Management and Bureau of Reclamation. Also provides a Volunteer Pass for those who contribute 250 or more hours of volunteer work to the parks.

Provide home and community-based service that is designed to de-escalate crises for youth under the age of 21. Youth and families who are experiencing difficulties or distress can receive in-person assistance within 60 minutes after contacting MRSS. Families may also receive up to 45 days of stabilization services and linkage to ongoing services and supports. Services provided by the MRSS team includes safety assessment, de-escalation, peer support, and skill building, among others.

Provides a wide range of services for individuals, family and friends of people affected by epilepsy and those with developmental disabilities. Services include information and referral, advocacy and case management, non-medical transportation, work skills lab/job coaching/community employment, prescription and benefits assistance, peer support groups, family support network, family camp, and quarterly education programs (Living With Epilepsy series).

Offers group presentations and training sessions related to identification of disabilities, early intervention for infants and preschoolers, family support systems, special education, transition from high school to employment/college in the community, and team work between persons with disabilities, their families, and service providers.
