The assistance is applied to their utility bill. Also provides indoor air quality and comfort assistance. Residents who have not received an air conditioner from the agency in the last three (3) years can request a unit. Electric box fans will also be distributed. Residents who have received air conditioners in the past three (3) years may be eligible for a fan. Distribution of air conditioners and fans will be subject to availability.

Offers financial assistance to cancer patients and their families, including transportation, prescription, and financial assistance, medical and nutrition supplies, and specialized clothing/wigs.

Project Woman offers an Emergency Shelter Program for victims of domestic and intimate partner violence. Project Woman is also a Rape Crisis Center; providing shelter, advocacy and support for survivors of sexual violence. Trauma-informed recovery services are provided. This is a non-disclosed and secure location.

Knox County's mobility management program will partner with Knox Area Transit to provide free transportation to farm markets, food pantries, hot meal programs and transportation for students and their parents to get to the buses to get to the free lunch program offered by the schools.

Sales through the organization’s ten retail stores directly support its mission and help to divert millions of pounds of goods from area landfills. Business Services Division creates additional employment opportunities and provides a variety of services to area businesses and organizations, including janitorial, commercial laundry, lawn care and custom contracts.
