Provides a one hour safe-sleep class. At the end of the class, parents/caregivers are provided with a Graco Pack ‘n Play portable crib. Also offers a complete ‘Safe Sleep Survival Kit’, which contains a Halo Sleep Sack (wearable blanket with Back to Sleep message), a Pack n Play crib sheet, and a pacifier.

Provides vouchers to assist with past due house/apartment/mobile home lot rent payments, mortgage payment (will help with first month's rent but not security deposits - $1,000 maximum per 12 month period); utility bill payment assistance (including gas, electric, bulk fuel water - $500 maximum per 12 month period). Provides financial assistance to reconnect or maintain home heating services for eligible households once per heating season. Generally assists with a payment up to: - $175 for PUCO regulated companies. - $750 for non-PUCO regulated utilities (such as a municipal utility). - $1,200 for those who use bulk fuel (oil, propane, kerosene, or bottled gas). - $650 for coal, wood or solid fuels. - $500 in heating unit repairs or replacements. - Scheduling an appointment automatically places a 1-time hold on disconnection for REGULATED utilities until after the scheduled appointment date (unless a previous hold was placed on the customer's account). Customers are only allowed one (1) disconnection hold for an assistance appointment per Winter Crisis Program (WCP) season. - Rescheduling removes the hold and possibly triggers loss of service.

Provides a rebate of up to $250 toward the installation of a new electric water heater in a home, office or other building which uses electricity from Darke Rural Electric Cooperative. A $250 rebate will be paid to the member on the basis of one rebate for each qualified unit installed that has a load management switch installed for Buckeye direct load management efforts. If there is an existing switch, a rebate of $200 will be paid to the member for the installation of a new water heater.

Incentive-based program where clients can earn new baby clothing (ages birth to 2T) and maternity clothing. Children's car seats/ booster seats may be available as well as other furniture items for babies including but not limited to pack and plays, cribs, etc. Gift cards may be available to pregnant women who become clients and who stay with the organization through the last 5 months of their pregnancy. Supplies are limited. Ongoing clients may also receive assistance with formula and diapers. Offers life skills classes for parents.

The Share Closet provides gently used clothing for men, women, teens and children. Small kitchen appliances, dishes and bedding also offered. Donations accepted only on Saturday from 9am - 12pm.

Provides assistance to qualified individuals and families. Intended to meet the local needs of families to overcome immediate barriers and help them become and stay self-supporting. Assistance available includes: Employment related expenses such as: -Vehicle repairs. - Driver's license fees (new or expired, does not include reinstatement). - Reimbursements for tools, equipment, uniforms, shoes/boots, and so forth. - Fingerprinting costs. - Gas vouchers for new employment (until receipt of first paycheck). Shelter/Housing expenses such as: - Rent or deposit for forestalling court-ordered evictions in rentals. - Bills to forestall utility shutoffs (gas, electric and water). - Fuel oil and propane purposes. - Emergency shelter due to fire, natural disaster, states of emergency, or domestic violence situations. Kinship assistance includes: - For a new kinship caregiver within six (6) months of a child moving into the home: Furniture and other items needs to care for children in the home. - Once a child(ren) has been with a kinship provider for more than six (6) months: There is an available reimbursement of child care costs up to four (4) months a year.

WIC program provides supplemental nutrition support to women, infants and children under the age of 5.
