G.O. Community Development Corporation will host a small household appliance distribution. Items will include toasters, heaters, keurig, humidifiers and bedding to name a few. This distribution will be an on-going weekly event.

Provides healthy foods, with an emphasis on proteins, protein drinks, and fresh organically-grown produce, personal hygiene items, toiletries, and cleaning products for those diagnosed with cancer. Home delivery is available for individuals unable to leave the home.

Provides various water repairs. For the main water line, will repair or make service line replacements. In the home, will repair or replace water tanks in addition to repairing plumbing fixtures such as leaking faucets, broken toilets (installation of water saver toilet in the event of non-repairable toilet). Also, repair/correction of frozen water lines and k-line replacements. When available, may install water conservation kit to help reduce water usage.

Provided clothing and home item to individuals and families in need. Available items depend on what has been donated and is on hand at any given time.

211 Summit

Provides used furniture (such as beds, tables, chairs, etc.) as well as household goods (such as drapes, linens, small appliances, and kitchen items). Client may browse and select the items the want. May have large appliances such as stoves and refrigerators - but these are not consistently available. Availability of items may vary due to what has been donated to the agency.

Provides food and household products (such as paper products and soap) to individuals and families in need.

211 Summit

Provides aid to families in the form of a voucher to buy items or pay for emergency services related to establishing a household (coming out of homelessness or moving into a new unit) and which cannot be addressed using existing community resources. MAY BE USED FOR: stoves and refrigerators (maximum $200); baby furniture; children's beds/mattresses; general furniture (limited to: couch, love seat, living room chairs, kitchen table, bedroom dresser (up to $125); washer and/or dryer (only if integral to the applicant's employment); and microwave oven (maximum of $400 per item), and children's clothing (up to $150 per child). MAY NOT BE USED FOR: entertainment furniture (such as a TV or a radio), mortgage payments. YEARLY CASH LIMITS: $1,500 total during the calendar year (may be $750 for certain non-custodial parents).

Provides gently worn clothing, shoes, linens, and small household items for people in need. Items available depend on donations received.

211 Summit

Provides used clothing and furniture (such as tables, beds, chairs, etc.) to those in need. Items are provided through donations to the agency - if the agency does not have the needed items on hand, they work with a local thrift store (Neighborhood Relief) to arrange service for the client. Availability is dependent on what the salvation Army and the local thrift store have on hand. Due to this, service is not always guaranteed.

Provides a free store for anyone in need. Offers weekly shopping of clothes, house wares, electronics, books,. personal hygiene items, toys, and cleaning supplies. Fresh Food as available as well when coordinating with Food Not Bombs.

Distributes food to needy individuals. Choice (shopping) pantry. Offers fresh produce, non-perishables, meat, dairy, and eggs. Some paper products/household items are available.
