PRC provides one-time financial assistance (in a 12 month period) to aid with emergency situations. Program is not meant to serve as an ongoing source of income. Maximum assistance allowed is $2500 for overdue rent or mortgage payments, security deposits, temporary housing, property taxes, home repairs (if the owner;) overdue utility bills (except during Winter Crisis), driver license reinstatement fees, transportation and auto repairs. Applicants can request aid for more than one emergency (up to maximum assistance limit).

Provides maternity and baby clothes. A layette is available for newborns upon request. Clothing is available for children newborn to child size 4T. Offers other basic need items for infants including blankets, bibs, pacifiers, and toiletries. This service is based on the availability of donated items.

Provide temporary shelter for single women and women with children who are homeless. Length of stay is 30 days with goal of moving to stable housing. Assistance with finding permanent housing and other resources.

Provides aid to families in the form of a voucher to buy items or pay for emergency services related to establishing a household (coming out of homelessness or moving into a new unit) and which cannot be addressed using existing community resources. MAY BE USED FOR: stoves and refrigerators (maximum $200); baby furniture; children's beds/mattresses; general furniture (limited to: couch, love seat, living room chairs, kitchen table, bedroom dresser (up to $125); washer and/or dryer (only if integral to the applicant's employment); and microwave oven (maximum of $400 per item), and children's clothing (up to $150 per child). MAY NOT BE USED FOR: entertainment furniture (such as a TV or a radio), mortgage payments. YEARLY CASH LIMITS: $1,500 total during the calendar year (may be $750 for certain non-custodial parents).

Provides clothing, shoes, and linen. * Shoes: Looking for new or gently used (preferably) tennis shoes, but all donations are greatly appreciated. All sizes for all ages are needed, every pair of shoes donated will be made available free of charge to the community of Huron county during back to school event on Aug 8. * Donations: Clothing, shoes, and linen accepted during clothing bank hours. No after hours donations accepted. DOES NOT accept pillows, toys, or household items. Donated items must be washed and clean prior to donating. * School Clothing: Accepts clothing for school age children, including school uniform clothing for St Paul's.

Offers individuals the opportunity to make telephone calls for business, doctor, employer, or case manager related matters. No personal calls allowed.

Provides clothing and accessories to the under-resourced individuals in local and surrounding areas. Through a workforce of volunteers that provide 500+ hours a month, Threads is able to reach hundreds of families monthly for those in need. We allow clients to schedule an appointment once every three months. Appointments are 30 minutes in length and during that time you can take whatever you need within our current inventory limits. After three visits it is requested the client spends time volunteering with us. However, that is not a requirement for service.

Thrift Shop which sells gently used items such as purses, dishes, lamps, books, movies, and more at inexpensive prices. Also offers a clothing pantry and a food pantry for needy families.

Accepts donations of new and gently-used coats and scarves.

Provides clothing and shoes to individuals and families in need. Available items depend on what has been donated and is on hand at any given time.

Provides a mailing address that people can use to receive mail through the US Postal Service, and to register to vote. No packages or magazines accepted. Valid State ID or Driver's License is required to sign up and receive mail.

Provides winter coats and jackets for youth and adults in need.

Provides vouchers for children who have an emergency need for shoes or a coat.

Collects and distributes gently used clothing for men, women and children.

Provides personal hygiene products to individuals in need.

Faith based non-profit providing social development for children; skill classes, family assistance; tutoring/health services for children; Super Kids program providing Biblically based music, games, drama, videos, object lessons, etc.; Super Kids Thrive providing Bible character education program; Summer Day Camp program; Teen Leadership program for Middle-High School students providing skill building, Ready-4-Work program, mentoring, camp and community service opportunities; karate classes $10/month; Summer NOW Youngstown outreach. Provide family assistance: food boxes, clothing, shoes, winter hats/gloves, housewares, diapers and hygiene items and monthly transportation to local market.

Meets the needs of those unprepared for pregnancy with pregnancy testing, limited ultrasound, mentoring, parenting education, baby furniture, and clothing.

Free laundry services are offered on the second and fourth Tuesdays each month. There are two sessions each day. Individuals MUST call to schedule their laundry time.

Provides school supplies and school clothing to Shelby area children/teens to start school. Families encouraged to bring children's clothing they have outgrown and exchange them for clothes to start the school year. * Donations of school supplies accepted during last two weeks of Jul.

Food pantry serving and located in the Belpre area. Also offers emergency food when needed. Also provides bath and beauty items, and laundry and dishwashing soap.

Diapers are available on a limited basis in various sizes.

Program offers free men's (employment-ready) clothing (i.e. suits, dress pants, ties, gently used shoes, socks, underwear, golf shirts, and personal hygiene products).

Provides new shoes, coat and undergarments for children under 18 and special shoes required by an employer (such as steel toed boots).
