Mi Casa Housing Program - Mortgage Foreclosure Prevention | Spanish American Committee

Provides counseling services for mortgage delinquency or foreclosure problems. Sessions are held one-on-one or in groups. Agency provides housing counselors certified by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Foreclosure Prevention | Community Housing Solutions

Provides mortgage foreclosure counseling to help clients address their current or impending mortgage foreclosure situation. In some cases, agency will advocate of behalf clients with mortgage holders and servicers. May assist and/or provide support for (in limited situations) clients who are involved in the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas Foreclosure Mediation Program. Provides information on budgeting and credit issues, available community resources, and the general options one might have when facing foreclosure. If needed, other services may be offered based on each participant's particular situation. This toll-free hotline will connect callers to a nonprofit counselor who will provide telephone-based budget counseling assistance, customer triage and negotiation with lenders, when appropriate. If more assistance is needed, callers will be referred to a local nonprofit organization whose employees are certified to provide intensive financial counseling and direct consumers to local services and resources, including possible assistance through the Ohio Home Rescue Fund.
