Utilizes trained volunteers to help older adults and low-income individuals and families complete their tax return forms. Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) and AARP Tax Counseling for the Elderly (TCE) sites are generally located at community and neighborhood centers, libraries, schools, shopping malls, and other convenient locations. Most locations also offer free electronic filing.
Beginning February 1, 2025, tax preparation is available for those who are eligible, by appointment only.
