Provides protective services and investigates and intervenes on behalf of adults 60 years and older who are alleged to be abused, exploited, neglected, or self-neglected. Social workers meet with the client to assess the concerns and make referrals to community services. When necessary, pursues legal action to protect the victim.

Offers intervention and counseling in a group setting to those who exhibit abusive behavior toward their spouse or partner. Goal is to increase the abuser's ability to use healthy skills in relationships or conflict situations. Anger management is a component of this program. In cases where the individual is court-referred, this service may be issued in lieu of incarceration.

Provides confidential counseling with a mental health professional for victims of domestic violence. Offers counseling for children who have witnessed or experienced some type of abuse or violence. Provides family therapy and parent education focused on helping the household to recover from past abuse, violence, or other traumatic events.
