Provides the following services: - Free legal assistance to crime victims, including direct representation in the criminal justice system to uphold crime victims' rights; - Informational and technical assistance to attorneys, service providers, and legislators on crime victims' rights laws; - Victims rights training to justice system officials and allied professionals.

Provides legal services including representation in court for indigent persons charged with criminal offenses that could result in loss of liberty.

Provides information and resources regarding discrimination related to sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, and HIV status. Lambda Legal selects cases that will have the greatest impact in protecting and advancing the rights of LGBT people and those with HIV. While Lambda is not able to take every case, the Help Desk can discuss legal issues and can provide useful information. This assistance may include follow-up discussions with Lambda Legal attorneys or contact information for an attorney in the area or for other organizations that may directly assist.

Provides legal services to low-income residents of Montgomery, Greene, Preble, and Darke Counties. Legal Line provides advice in civil matters, consumer fraud and home repair scams; domestic violence, divorce, and child support; eviction, foreclosure, and other housing problems; health care access; predatory lending; Social Security/SSI; unemployment benefits; and welfare, Medicaid, and food stamps.

Provides legal advice or representation to handicapped or elderly persons who have problems related to income, employment, family matters, health care, or individual rights.

Provides the following services: - Free legal assistance to crime victims, including direct representation in the criminal justice system to protect and enforce crime victims' rights; - Direct assistance and representation of victims on issues involving Crime Victims Compensation. - Informational and technical assistance to attorneys, advocates, other allied professionals, and legislators on crime victims' rights laws; - Free victims rights training to SANE, counselors, social workers, advocates, law enforcement, prosecutors, judges, and community organizations. CLE's and CEU's are provided.

Receives and acts on complaints regarding people labeled mentally ill or MR/DD concerning institutional or community practices/conditions; assures that detained institutionalized and discharged persons are informed of their rights; provides case advocacy and legal representation; monitors policies/procedures and all major incidents reported to Departments of Mental Health and MR/DD.
