Evaluates cases related to estate administration where there is no bond or where the home or another asset is the primary reason for probate. Will also evaluate cases of posthumous paternity where decedent had a work history. Allows individuals to record living wills and durable power of attorney for health care with the office to ensure that documents will be available to family members, if the need arises.

Provides recording services for all documents related to real estate located in Franklin County (i.e. deeds, mortgages, liens, etc.). Living Will declarations and Durable Power of Attorney for Health Care forms are also provided by the office free of charge and may be recorded for a fee of $40.
