Orders investigations as part of divorce actions, custody evaluations, child visitation arrangements, marriage conciliations, and home studies upon request of the judge.

Provides services that include establishing paternity in cases of out-of-wedlock births, establishing and enforcing child support and medical insurance orders, locating absent parents and their assets, conducting administrative reviews of child support orders, and limited enforcement of spousal support (alimony) orders.

Provides the establishment of paternity, location of non-custodial parents, establishment of child and medical support orders, modification of child support orders, enforcement of existing child support or medical support orders, collection of and disbursement of payments. Does not deal directly with issues of visitation or custody, offer or dispense legal advice, or modify spousal support.

Enforces child support rulings and seeks funds for late payments. Offers a program where non-custodial parents in arrears for child support payments can negotiate payment strategies. Provides willing individuals assistance in employment and regaining driver's license.

Called support order review or an administrative adjustment review (AAR), the support order modification process is the act of re-examining a support order to bring the order into compliance with the Ohio Child Support Guideline Worksheet. The monthly obligation recommended by the CSEA may increase, decrease, or remain the same compared to the current order. Either party may object to the recommendation if they disagree with the recalculated order.

Providing civil legal assistance for various issues including: bankruptcy, child support/visitation, debt collections, disability benefits, divorce, and driver's license suspensions.

Offers services related to Child Support including location of non-custodial parents, paternity establishment, establishment and modifications of child support orders, collection of child support payments and/or alimony, and enforcement of child support orders, medical support orders, and alimony.

Provides assistance to parents with minor children who are seeking financial support from a noncustodial parent. Administers child support and enforcement services, including location of non-custodial parents, establishment of paternity, establishment of financial and medical support, enforcement and collection of support payments, and review and modification of support orders.

Provides legal assistance which may include information, advice, or representation as well as online resources to help with the following issues: *Domestic violence *Termination of marriage (Divorce or Dissolution) *Child custody and Child support *Kinship care *Right to counsel *Adult and Minor name changes

The CSEA can assist parents by providing the following services: - Establishment of paternity - Location of non-custodial parents - Establishment and modification of child support and medical support orders - Enforcement of existing child support , medical support and spousal support (alimony) orders - Collection of child support and spousal (alimony) payments. CSEA services DO NOT include: - Child custody and visitation issues - Income tax exemptions - Legal representation of individuals.

Provides food, child care, Medicaid, cash, transportation, rent and utility assistance; child support enforcement; paternity establishment; child protective services; foster parent licensing and training; adult protective services.

Establishes and enforces court orders requiring support for unmarried adults (can be a child support order or alimony). Assists all recipients (unmarried juveniles or adults, or divorced persons) who may need modification of a support order. Takes whatever court or administrative actions are legally available and necessary to achieve compliance with court orders for child or spousal support. May include filing motions, attachment of wages, seizing assets, professional license revocation, prosecution under felony criminal non-support laws, and other actions as required. Ohio law allows that either parent may request a review and modification of the support order every 36 months or earlier if either parent has been unemployed at no fault of their own for 30 consecutive days, experienced at least a 30% change in income (beyond their control) for a period of six months, or becomes permanently disabled.

Has jurisdiction over adults charged with non-support, contributing to delinquency, neglect, or dependency of children; abuse of children; or failure to provide proper parental care.

Monitors payments, distributes monies, and enforces all orders of support and/or alimony issued by the court; handles interstate and intra-state enforcement, location of absent parents, and income tax intercepts; provides paternity/reverse paternity establishment.

Provides assistance to those with child support enforcement or establishment matters. Advice and representation may be available in custody matters when the child's primary caretaker is threatened with loss of custody to a person who presents an imminent or long-term threat to the safety or well-being of the child. Advice on divorce matters is available and representation may also be available in very limited circumstances, generally involving past domestic violence in the household. Cooperates with local private attorneys who will file simple, uncontested divorces for a fee. Advice and/or assistance with "pro se" (D-I-Y) court filings is also available on a variety of other family issues including visitation, contempt of previous court orders, and adoption defense.

Anyone with legal custody of a child can ask the CSEA (Child Support Enforcement Agency) to establish a support order.
