Upstart | Waterford

Provides an at-home, early education program that gives parents the tools they need to become their child's first and most influential teacher, including a computer and access to the internet at no cost. The program provides positive parent-child interactions while delivering personalized, online instruction 15 minutes a day, 5 days a week. Parents are also given support through a personal coach and tips to continue engaging their children offline.

Early Learning Program | Mid-East Career And Technology Centers

Serves families with children ages three to four years of age and are potty trained. The Early Learning Program is ideal for those families who need a part time preschool program for their child. Families can enroll for a full day or in the afternoon program. The Early Learning Program curriculum is based on the “Creative Curriculum.” Learning Opportunities are provided daily to the children that stimulate their cognitive, social-emotional and physical development. The program also follows the Ohio Early Learning Developmental Standards for preschool. Educated preschool teachers align the learning activities with the standards and each child’s individual development. Our program is unique in that Early Childhood Education students are student teachers in the classroom daily implementing developmentally appropriate activities with the children under the supervision of a licensed Early Childhood Education Instructor, Preschool teacher and teaching assistant.

Early Head Start And Home Based Program | Great Lakes Community Action Partnership Headquarters

Provides infant and childcare services for children birth to age 3. Children may receive care for up to 12 hours per day, 5 days per week. Home-Based Program provides families with 90-minute home visits each week to guide parents as they learn skills to help children grow and develop. Provides hands-on learning experiences for children and parents. Children and parents also have opportunities to participate in two group socialization experiences each month, which offer a chance for children to develop social skills and parents to network with one another.

New Hope Preschool | Knox Educational Service Center

Early childhood programs providing a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the physical, social, emotional, language, and cognitive development of young children while responding to the needs of families. Programs encompass six components - developmental screening and assessment, curriculum, adult-child interaction, relations between home and school, developmental evaluation of the child, and transition to an appropriate program and is responsive to individual differences of both typically developing children and children with disabilities. Classrooms consists of two types of preschool experiences: PUBLIC PRESCHOOL and INTEGRATED PRESCHOOL. A Public Preschool classroom will contain approximately 16, mostly typically developing, students per session. An Integrated Preschool Classroom will contain approximately 12 students, six typically developing children, and six children with special needs. Both types of classrooms will contain a licensed teacher, and an assistant teacher. Some integrated classrooms may also contain classroom aides depending on the needs of the children involved.
