Early childhood programs providing a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the physical, social, emotional, language, and cognitive development of young children while responding to the needs of families. Programs encompass six components - developmental screening and assessment, curriculum, adult-child interaction, relations between home and school, developmental evaluation of the child, and transition to an appropriate program and is responsive to individual differences of both typically developing children and children with disabilities. Parenting group focusing on positive ways to parent young children. Child sitting available if needed. Classes are seven 2-hour sessions from October 7- November 18, 2021held at Alta's Campus of Care location at 1960 E. County Line Road, Mineral Ridge, Ohio.

The preschool/childcare curriculum offers art, language arts, music, science, math, computer skills, gross motor activities (gym time, playground, and swimming), circle time and field trips. All children are provided with an AM and PM snack. Childcare program children need to bring a packed lunch September-May. During the summer, June-August, childcare participates in the USDA food program (free lunches).

Sessions are led by a licensed therapist and include interactive activities, songs, and games. Meets at least one hour per week, and parents must remain on-site.

The goal of the program is to help children get ready for school by building reading, language and social skills.

We currently have classrooms that are located within the school districts of Ada, Hardin Northern, Upper Scioto Vally, and Ridgemont. We also partner with local preschool programs to provide special education services on behalf of their district of residence.
