Programs areas include, but are not limited to: law enforcement, truck driving, welding and fabrication, industrial technology, early childhood education, culinary arts, home inspection, and nursing (LPN).

Offers two year career preparation programs for high school students from Greene County. All students receive applied academics and related classes to meet graduation requirements from high school. Students can choose from more than 25 career preparation programs.

Provides a work-study program for eligible students. Students attend regular classes as scheduled as well as working at an on-the-job assignment for the remainder of the day (or on weekends) as scheduled. Credit is given for both academic and work performance. The minimum work commitment is 5 days, 15hrs. each week.

Program provided education (high school diploma and GED) and vocational training with state certifications. Residential and non-residential openings available in Cincinnati, Dayton, and Cleveland.

Provides training for careers and a wide range of work-related classes for youth. Offerings include courses in animal care, floral design, greenhouse production and landscape mechanics. Business career training includes professional administrative technology for careers in medical/legal technology (some with college credit classes), computer instruction for business-related careers, marketing technology, and training in culinary arts. Also does assessments of youth for career and technical activities, including assessments and services for youth with disabilities who are transitioning from school to work.

Provides career and technical education as well as career readiness and college preparation to East Cleveland students of appropriate ages.

A Career Pathway is a series of academic and technical career-focused coursework and other educational learning experiences leading to a career specialty and employment in a career field. Pathways facilitate a seamless transition from high school to postsecondary education (including apprenticeships, adult education, two- and four-year colleges and graduate school) and from postsecondary education to the workplace.

Programs include but are not limited to industrial maintenance, tool and die programs, technical skills, computer applications, human resource development, training management, small business management, farm business planning and analysis, public safety services and health services.

Offers State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) classes and is a authorized provider in First Aid training, CPR and ECC courses, beginner and renewal courses available. Has a training site in Ontario, Ashland and Wooster.

Offers comprehensive employment services including vocational evaluation, career exploration, occupational skills training, job readiness, job finding assistance and soft skills training.

Provides career and vocational assessment and counseling for unemployed or underemployed individuals looking for a career change. Also offers assistance with resume-writing, interviewing skills, and job search activities.

Provides education in Career Development Programs: Phlebotomy, Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, Nurse Aide Program, Pharmacy Technician, Information Technology, Construction Technologies and Welding Technology. Career Enhancement Classes: Applied Math and Blueprint Reading; Inspection, Troubleshooting, and Precision Tools; OSHA; Forklift Training; Healthcare Provider CPR/AED and First Aid. Provides skill training, vocational classes, basic education for adults, and GED preparation; continuous enrollment offered for adult basic education.

Offers vocational development program for high school students with emotional and social barriers to employment. Program helps students make successful transitions from school to work through career exploration activities and assistance in securing and retaining employment.

Programs include: automotive service technician; cardiograph technician; cosmetology academy; dental assisting; facilities maintenance; heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration; manicurist; medical assisting; police academy, precision/CNC machine technology, medical billing and coding, phlebotomy certification, practical nursing and welding. Financial aid (to those who qualify) and career guidance available to participants.

Training available in the following areas, but not limited to: Certified Production Technician, General Automotive Maintenance, Firefighter 1 & 2, Emergency Medical Services, State Tested Nurse Aide, HVAC, Machining/CNC, Residential Wiring, Small Engine Repair, Auburn Practical Nursing, Industrial Electricity- Electrical training, Welding, Fire Safety Inspector, Fire/EMS Instructor, Public Safety Academy, Paramedic, Emergency Services Telecommunicator, EKG Technician and different computer courses. Many programs offer industry credentials and certifications. Auburn Career Center provides customized classes for organizations and businesses and hosts workshops and seminars related to business and technology.

Provides postsecondary career education and training to both traditional and nontraditional students through a variety of training courses and degree and diploma programs.

Provides a program through CSU, Sinclair Community College and Ohio Department of Corrections, to recruit and educate qualified individuals for a career as a corrections officer. Program offers paid tuition, fees, and books for qualified applicants who will earn an associate degree in Corrections. Program focus is minority person.

Provides a program where students are enrolled in both high school and college, studying academic and computer skills targeted towards careers in technology. Students take classes for college credit and participate in internships and career-related activities.
