Provides scholarships to students who attend the state’s lowest-rated public schools to be used toward tuition at the participating private school of student's choice. Scholarships are worth $6,165 for students in grades K-8 and $8,407 for high school students and are renewable through high school graduation.
Administers more than 60 scholarship funds through an open application process, although the majority of scholarship recipients are chosen by representatives from the school system and do not require an application. The Foundation encourages charitable tax-exempt organizations serving Richland County residents to apply for a competitive grant to provide programs and services that fulfill the current needs of the community (Competitive Grant Program). We provide scholarships for local students to attend college or a career technical education center. We award grants to nonprofit agencies that wish to develop creative, educational and fun-filled activities for Richland County children throughout the summer months (Summertime Kids Program). We award grants to Richland County teachers to develop creative and interesting new programs, projects or events for the K-12 classrooms of Richland County (Teacher Assistance Program - TAP). Offers a variety of programs that are sponsored/provided by organizations within the community. Current programs available are: - Special Riders, provides individuals with severe physical disabilities the opportunity to ride horses. Volunteers and staff work in teams of three to facilitate a safe horseback riding experience for participants. We have spring and fall sessions available. - Equipment Loan, offers loan items to individuals recovering from surgeries or other health related issues at no cost for up to 3 months. . - Caregiver Support Group, meets 10:00-11:30pm every third Thursday to help caregivers.

Provides scholarships to students age 3-22 who are on the spectrum and have a medical diagnosis. Scholarship can be used at the participating school and/or private service provider(s) of student's choice and is renewable through high school graduation or the student's 22nd birthday. Scholarships are worth up to $32,445 a year.

Offers two-generation Scholarship Program
The Drive to Succeed Scholarship Program, administered through the Knox County Health Department, is to expand access to driver’s education training for income-eligible teenagers by providing a scholarship to those who cannot afford to take driver’s education training. The student will provide a $25 deposit to the school that will then be used for their driving test.
Provides workshops, camps, classes and private lessons in the areas of music, dance, theatre, visual arts and Kenpo for seniors, adults, teens, and kids.
