Provides a federally funded low-income residential energy efficiency program to reduce energy usage by low income households. Services may include attic, wall and basement insulation; blower-door-guided air leakage reduction; heating system repairs or replacements; and health and safety testing and inspections. Individualized client education is offered as part of the program.

Private water systems are permitted and inspected by Environmental Health. Inspections include location, installation, and safety of the drinking water. Water samples are taken upon request to evaluate for bacteria, minerals, and possible contaminants.
Operates a veterinary hospital for local wildlife. Provides medical treatment to injured, sick, displaced and orphaned wildlife and rehabilitates them so they may be returned to the wild.
Provides a phoneline, as well web forms, that Ohio residents can use to report the location and abuse or neglect of non-native wild animals by private owners. Non-native animals include lions, tigers, primates, constricting or exotic venomous snakes and large bears.
Offers an audit of electrical usage, makes recommendations on how to conserve energy and replaces light bulbs and appliances (refrigerators and freezers only) when they are determined to be energy inefficient.
