Manage and deliver coordinated transportation services to residents of Columbiana County. Provides transportation planning, rider training, trip brokerage and coordination, safe-driver training, and the coordination of all transportation options within the county. Specific attention to promoting accessibility, education and awareness to older adults, persons with disabilities, persons with low income, veterans and other underserved populations.

Helps provide financial assistance to cover day care costs on behalf of low income families so they may participate in OWF and/or education or training to maintain employment. This department also certifies day care providers to provide services through subsidized child care program.

Provides simulated miniature towns with scaled down roads, crosswalks, commercial storefronts, traffic signs, traffic signals, railroad crossings and school buses that young children can visit and ride tricycles through to learn about safety.
