Provides many non emergency crime prevention and public safety education services including: neighborhood watch programs, security evaluations for both residential and commercial customers, D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) programs in both elementary and high schools, bicycle/pedestrian safety programs for schools, property I.D. program, and crime reporting hotline.

Prevention program designed to reduce risk factors and enhance protective factors related to alcohol, tobacco and drugs as well as getting along peacefully with others. Five classroom lessons cover goal setting, decision making, communicating, bonding and managing emotions. Students also participate in a community service project. The program runs from September to June.

Conducts inspections which offer guidance regarding child passenger safety seats and the law, choosing a car seat that is appropriate for a particular child's height and weight, correct car seat installation and restraining a child in a car seat.

Providing Power of Parents alcohol abuse prevention education program, for youth, middles school and high school students at area schools

Provides a class, taught by a certified fire fighter, to assist in purchasing and safely installing a child's passenger seat in a car.

Provides an 8-hour defensive driving program, 2 point credit, suspended license, refresher course and insurance discounts.

Provides inspections of child passenger safety seats.

Provides car seats through Ohio Buckles Buckeyes program. Also provides education on car seats, with training on proper installation, use of seats, and properly securing seats.

Provides child safety seats and booster seats to eligible low income families

Free Ohio Identification Card (ID) for Ohio residents 17 years old or older. Ohioans who are under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or a guardian. Can not already hold a valid driver license. Driver License holders can, however, choose to downgrade to a State ID. State IDs are also available for Ohioans who are 16 years and younger for a fee. Permanent and irreversibly disabled Ohioans who are 16 or younger are eligible for a no fee ID (BMV 5755 is required).

Provides crime prevention services and safety education activities for the City of South Euclid. Works with neighborhood groups to alleviate risks; also provides vacation security checks and security evaluations to determine whether or not homes are secure.

The Licking County Sheriff’s Deputies will operate a CarFit drive-through for older adult participants to ensure their vehicle is best “fit” for maximum comfort and safety. Participants are also encouraged to bring any car seats they currently have in use to ensure they are properly installed for the safety of the youngest members of the family. This free CarFit check takes approximately 20 minutes to complete. All participants can look forward to be entered into a drawing for a 1 year AAA membership, and a complimentary bagged lunch.

Technicians provide child car seat installations and inspections. Allow 40 minutes for appointment.

Provides a school resource officer as well as substance abuse prevention and gang prevention information.

Assistance and inspections are provided by an officer certified as a Child Safety Seat Technician by the National Highway Safety Administration.
