Periodically offers CPR and basic First-Aid classes. Provides remedial driving classes for both adults and juveniles (which can be used to reinstate a driver's license or remove up to 2 points from a driver's license).

Can not already hold a valid driver license. Driver License holders can, however, choose to downgrade to a State ID. State IDs are also available for Ohioans who are 16 years and younger for a fee. Permanent and irreversibly disabled Ohioans who are 16 or younger are eligible for a no fee ID (BMV 5755 is required).

Certified inspection officers perform checks of all vehicle safety features, including lights, wipers, horn, turn signals, glass, brakes, etc. Upon passing inspection, vehicle owner will be provided a completed Kentucky Application for Certificate of Title/Registration Form which may be taken to the County Clerk to obtain a Kentucky license plate.

Crime Prevention Officer is available to speak to interested groups. Encourages and assists neighborhoods to organize neighborhood associations, which meet to learn how to discourage preventable crime in their areas. Also has a program of stickers installed by the police which alert patrols to cars being driven at unusual hours which may have been stolen. Offers vacation security checks of homes for residents who are out of town. Sponsors a bike rodeo each year where children have bike safety tests, can ride a bike course, are fitted for helmets, etc.
