Provides fire services for the residents and businesses of Bedford. Provides smoke detectors and batteries, offers blood pressure screening, CPR and AED training, carbon monoxide checks, fire extinguisher classes, fire safety inspections, car seat inspections and fire prevention information.

Provides Barberton residents with a free smoke detector including installation by a Barberton firefighter.

Through the Ohio Buckles Buckeyes Program, HAPCAP offers free child safety seats and booster seats to eligible families in Athens County.

Women’s Center–Dayton offers abortion alternatives including free pregnancy tests and ultrasound scans to those who qualify. Free and confidential consultations are provided to clients who are pregnant so can understand options: adoption, abortion, or parenting. Program provides a 24 hour helpline, free pregnancy test and assistance, free ultrasound, post-abortion support, information about abortion alternatives and mentoring services. Material assistance: free infant formula and diapers, baby and infant equipment. Quantities and ability to earn material assistance are determined by agency.

Provides fire prevention and protection services for the City of Shaker Heights. Offers a CO detector for loan, and provides photoelectric smoke detectors. Will speak about fire prevention and safety, assist with fire escape planning, and conduct a home safety assessment. Provides fire safety education through the use of a mobile fire safety house.

Provides child safety seats and booster seats.

Provides comprehensive home visiting services in Defiance, Fulton, Henry, and Williams Counties. This service is for pregnant women and families with children up to age 3 who are income eligible.

Car seat checks- learn to install and use, access to low cost car seats; Home safety- receive safety items such as gates, outlet covers, etc; Bike helmets provided at a discount

Countywide resource to provide car seat instruction (infant, convertible, and booster) to those in need. Nationally Certified Carseat Technicians will provide hands-on education to ANY community member and check that your car seat is installed correctly. Also offers FREE car seats to those within specific income guidelines and/or who are WIC and/or SNAP eligible.

Provides fire fighting and rescue operations for the City of Euclid. Provides smoke detectors and/or batteries to eligible residents who own their homes and will install detectors, and also replace batteries if necessary, in the home.

Offers comprehensive medical social services and discharge planning services to patients. Also offers infant carseats for infant's first five months of life.

Offers small, safe-like steel boxes in which property owners can store entrance keys. The boxes are attached to the front door or mounted near the front entryway of an individual's residence and can be opened by a master key maintained by the fire department in the event that the resident is unavailable or unable to answer the door.

Offers fire protection services, emergency medical services, fire inspection, smoke alarms for low-income families, carbon monoxide testing, fire prevention education, and general safety information. Also provides a juvenile firesetters program.

Provides car seats to those that meet eligibility requirements. Inspects to see that car seats have been installed properly in vehicles.

Provides food, clothing and baby items (formula, clothing, diapers, cribs, car seats, etc.) to individuals and families in need. Bibles are available for interested persons. Availability is based on what has been donated and is on hand at any given time.

In-home safety visit with free smoke alarms or batteries installed as needed.

Provides and installs up to three smoke alarms, safety assessment of the dwelling, and other information concerning fire safety.

Local distribution site for the Ohio Buckles Buckeyes Child Safety Seat Program employs one Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician to oversee the program, assist with child safety seat questions and to check your child’s safety seat installation. Checking of seats is by appointment only. Safety seats are intended primarily for distribution to eligible low-income families whose child has outgrown their infant-only car seat.

Provides education programs and new car seats to income eligible families.

Volunteer department serves the Village of Fredericktown and Berlin, Middlebury, Morris, Wayne and Pike Townships.

Provides fire department and EMS ambulance transport. Will come out and check homes for carbon monoxide gas. Does not provide detectors, but will install a homeowner's unit free of charge. Administers the Senior Citizen Smoke Detector Program, installing a free, new smoke detector for seniors age 62 and older. Will also return to replace batteries and make sure all detectors are working. Non-emergency activities include fire safety demonstrations and fire code inspections of public buildings. Also provides green reflective house number signs, free of charge, to all Springfield Township/Ontario residents.

Provides size-appropriate seats for children that buckle into passenger vehicles. Seats are fitted to the child and installed by a technician. Offers front-facing, high-backed seats as well as booster seats for older children. Distribution includes safety education and installation of the seat in vehicle.

Provides education, information and advocacy to reduce the risk of injury and death in children. Offers car seats at a reduce cost to low-income families. Provide free car seat checks to ensure they are properly installed. Offers information on bike helmets and offers helmets at a reduce cost. Provides home safety inspections.
