Offers fire protection, emergency medical services, and fire prevention education for Lockbourne, Shadeville, Hamilton Township and part of the village of Obetz. Provides and installs smoke detectors, offers CPR classes, and provides carbon monoxide testing. Speaks to local groups, businesses, and schools about fire prevention.

Provides fire prevention / firefighting services. Provides Emergency Medical Services (EMS) services with trained paramedics. Also offers periodic CPR classes, emergency preparedness, annual hydrant inspections, and unannounced yearly inspections of structures to ensure compliance with fire codes. Provides smoke detectors. Provides speakers about fire safety for public education programs. Children are also educated about fire safety issues through the use of a mobile fire safety house.

Provides and installs free smoke detectors and educates public about fire safety. Will assist the household in determining an escape plan in case of a fire. Does not supply smoke alarms to landlords for their rental property.

Red Cross offers an array of community education including first aid/ CPR, AED, HIV/AIDS facts, Baby sitter training, blood borne pathogens, and sport safety training. May offer free smoke alarms as well as testing existing alarms and providing home fire preparedness training.
