Offers several different classes for expecting parents or for those taking care of a baby. Mammography Clinic | Perry County Health Department

A van from the James Cancer Center mobile unit visits Perry County 6-8 times a year to assist women in need of breast screenings. Women age 40 or older, women under the age of 40 with a first degree relative who have been diagnosed with breast cancer and women under the age of 40 who have an area of concern are eligible for screenings. Women who fit eligibility criteria receive a free mammogram.

Women'S Health Services | Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center

Offers the latest in digital screening mammography and breast health services at various locations throughout Central Ohio. During a screening mammogram, a picture of the breast is taken using X-rays. Most women should begin getting annual mammograms at age 40, although women under 40 who have a family history of breast cancer should start getting mammograms earlier - 10 years before the age the youngest family member was when they were diagnosed. (For example, if your mother was diagnosed at 40, you should start getting mammograms at 30.)

Lifecare Alliance Cancer Support Services | Lifecare Alliance

Provides low cost screening examinations and mammograms at area locations. Certified nurse practitioners provide cancer screening examinations of the mouth, lymph nodes, rectum, skin and breasts. In addition, women receive a pelvic exam that includes a PAP test. Men are examined for prostate and testicular cancer, and may receive a PSA exam for a minimal fee. No client will be turned away due to inability to pay.
