Helps pay for adaptive equipment for the visually impaired. Will pay for up to 50% or $1000 maximum benefit.

Services provided help Ohioans with disabilities learn about or acquire assistive technology. Assistive Technology refers to devices, equipment or services that assist individuals with disabilities to function independently in the areas of work, home or school. We offer several programs and services to achieve that goal. We also keep up with current legislative activity that affects persons with disabilities, and educate legislators about the needs and concerns of citizens with disabilities.

Birth Defects Council, families may receive assistance with medication and supplies, adaptive equipment, gas vouchers, prenatal care, camp registration, home modifications, and lodging assistance for hospital stays.

Provides a program to assist individuals in purchasing apps for Apple iDevices which would otherwise be unattainable.

Provides equipment to improve quality of life and independence for Service members with disabilities. Equipment includes visual-enhancement devices, software programs for those who cannot type, specialized wheelchairs for those who are unable to ambulate and water softener systems for those with catastrophic burns.
