Fostering Further's Grant a Wish program provides funding for meaningful experiences for Licking County foster youth. These requests will typically fall under these categories: - Camps - Educational Expenses - Graduation Expenses - Recreational & Socialization (sports, scouts, etc.) - Skill-building & Self-enhancement (music, creative arts, etc.) - Therapeutic, Health, & Safety.
Fulfills life-enriching Wishes for senior citizens. Four types of Wishes are granted: Commemorating Service (such as visiting memorials and attending military reunions); Renewing and Celebrating Passions (such as playing in a band or learning to dance); Reconnecting Loved Ones (reconnecting with long-lost friends or loved ones); Fulfilling Lifelong Dreams (such as flying a plane, driving a race care, or skydiving). The service does not send seniors on vacation. Travel must be purpose-driven, with a dream achieved during or as a result of the trip.
