  • Decreasing infant mortality by ensuring infants have a safe sleep environment and car safety seats;
  • Increasing parenting skills, promoting early childhood development and school readiness;

  • Addressing social determinants of health;
  • Free transportation to medical appointments - LCHD has partnered with Uber to help women get a free ride
to their next medical appointment. Ride recipients must be 18 and 44 years old and have the Uber app downloaded on their phone. To schedule a ride, call 740-349-6535 and ask for the Uber Health Program.
